Meetings


We Try to have informative and specialized programs periodically throughout the year. If you have a suggestion for a program, please e-mail us at nami.humboldt@gmail.com or call us at 707-444-1600.

Notices or programs and dates appear on the website as well as in the Times Standard and other local media.


The general public is welcome at all NAMI meetings.

Programs and Meetings:

NAMI Humboldt Board meets the 1st Wednesday of each month at 824 Harris (corner of J and Harris) from 6:30 to 7:30 pm..Health and Human Services Building. We are meeting via Zoom at Present. Contact Lea for Zoom information.

County Mental Health Board meets the 3rd Thursday from 12-1:30 at 720 Wood St
Support Groups.

NAMI facilitators currently (2018) offer support groups in Eureka and Fortuna, and Redway:

Current support Groups for family members:

  • First and Third Mondays in Fortuna 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at 922 N St (corner of 10th and N) in Fortuna. For information call Sharon at 725-8853 or e-mail sharonbenda19@gmail.com

  • Eureka groups meet at 4:30 pm to 6 pm on every Monday and every Thursday from 12- 1 at Humboldt Plaza, 2440 W. Sixth St. Contact Lea Nagy at 845-3233 for more information.

  • Redway group meets every Thursday at Redway Family Resource Center, Redway School from 3 pm - 4:30 pm. For more information call Lea at 845-3233.
